「~を楽しむ」

前回、前々回と、"enjoy" の一部をチェックしたので、本元をおさらいしておきましょう。

語義
1: to take pleasure in; experience with joy.

以上から、 "enjoy" は基本的に目的語をとります。目的語には①名詞または②動詞のingです。
語義の1には、"like" と交換可能なものがありますが、"like" は動詞のing または to不定詞を目的語にできますが、"enjoy" については動詞は "~ing" だけなので注意しましょう。
その他イディオムの "enjoy oneself" は前回の記事「楽しむ」を、目的語のない非常にカジュアルな表現 "Enjoy!" については前々回の記事「召し上がれ」を参照してください。
